Updating your Eligibility List for Visit Fee Compliance in 2025

If you're implementing a visit fee in 2025, this resource is for you!

In Hint, you should see a Visit Fee membership type added to your account. If you have both full service and virtual only employees, you'll see two (2) different Visit Fee membership types. Your account settings tab will specify which membership types can be used. Beginning 1/1/25, please use the following membership types only:
  1. Nice Full - for full service employees that should not be charged a visit fee
  2. Nice Full - Visit Fee - for full service employees that should be charged a visit fee
  3. Nice Virtual - for virtual only employees that should not be charged a visit fee
  4. Nice Virtual - Visit Fee - for virtual only employees that should be charged a visit fee

Example:
You can see here that Nice Full and Nice Full - Visit Fee are active membership types, and Employer-NoVisitFee is no longer active. 


Updating Your Eligibility List

Step 1. Make a copy & download your preferred eligibility file type. 
  1.       Google Sheet
  2.       Excel {Attached]
Step 2. Enter your employee's information. 
  1. Full Service employees and dependents enrolled in a qualified High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) should have Nice Full - Visit Fee entered as the membership type in Column M. 
  2. Virtual Only employees and dependents enrolled in a qualified High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) should have Nice Virtual - Visit Fee entered as the membership type in Column M. 
Step 3. Once your form is ready for upload please:
  1.       DELETE line 1 which includes the formatting criteria and will not allow the file to be successfully processed. 
  2.       Download as a .csv [Comma Separated Values] and prepare for Upload.

  1. Once the upload has processed, all employees and their eligible dependents should have the appropriate, updated membership type and you're all set!
